Smart Water

Here are some alarming facts about oil. First, the world consumes oil as fast as it can get its hands on it (75 million barrels a day rising to 120 million by 2030, according to the International Energy Agency) And second, will it be economically practical or technically possible to get our hands on all the remaining oil? Drilling for oil is not a simpleas drilling a hole in the ground and waiting for the oil to gush like a fountain. Most of the time, oil must be pumped out of reservoir.

Additionally, once the oil reservoir is about half empty, the bulk of its oil as much as two-thirds is still left in the ground because it is too expensive to get it out. But oil companies still want to extract this oil and thats where enhanced oil recovery comes in. Enhanced Oil Recovery refers to techniques used to increase the amount of oil that can be extract from an oil fields.
